Hurricane Clutch Noise Reduction Ring

Description

The Hurricane Clutch Noise Reduction Ring dramatically reduces the clutch rattle in the Yamaha/Sidewinder by absorbing much of the engine harmonics before the clutch taper. The install process is simple. Remove the outer bearing from the stock PTO stub. Install the Noise Reduction Ring on shaft as shown in picture. Press the ring into place until it stops – as shown in picture. Torque the safety set screws equally to 276 in pounds.. Reinstall the stock bearing and seal. Reinstall into engine. Install the clutch and torque the bolt to 85lbs. Re-torque clutch bolt after 5 mins of operation.
